Laszlo was a phenomenal guide: his English is excellent, he's very personable, and has a wealth of knowledge about the area's flora and fauna and history. If you've never been to Budapest, this isn't the first thing you'd do. But after you've seen the Castle district and the parliament building, etc., this is very worthwhile. Fifteen or 20 minutes from downtown on the bus, and you're in the woods, and still within the city limits. “I had one of the most memorable day of my life. This was my first proper hiking experience and there was rain in the morning which made me more anxious. On top of that I came with a road running shoe! But our guide Attila (the Hun!) made it all look easy and we decided to go ahead with the plan. It stopped raining by the time we started the hike. “The hike was challenging but really worth it when you get to the top. I got to explore a lot of different types of nature and have some beautiful scenic views. Gyuri is a competent guide, who will make sure you know how to get through the challenging parts safe and sound. He is patient and makes sure you can do the climb at your own pace.
